# LensaOCR

> Tesseract-compatible OCR over HTTP: send an image, get its text and word boxes in Tesseract's txt, TSV, hOCR and ALTO formats.

An HTTP API at https://lensaocr.saastemly.com, also an MCP server at https://lensaocr.saastemly.com/mcp, paid per call: with x402 (USDC on Base; an unpaid call answers 402 Payment Required with the terms, which x402 clients pay automatically), or with prepaid credits or a monthly plan bought by card at https://lensaocr.saastemly.com (send the API key as Authorization: Bearer <key>).

## Endpoints

- POST /v1/ocr ($0.005 per call; MCP tool "ocr"): Reads an image's text and word boxes (Tesseract txt, TSV, hOCR and ALTO).
